About the HR Specialist Role
The HR Specialist at Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) will support our global talent management, employee relations, and HR operations. This is a key position that contributes to our inclusive, high performance culture and helps drive company success through people-related processes and best HR practices.
Main Responsibilities in Human Resources
- Provide administrative and operational support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle, records management, and offboarding.
- Assist with payroll administration, employee data updates, benefits coordination, and HR systems maintenance.
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes; liaise with hiring managers, post job adverts, screen applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate offers.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of HR documents in compliance with company policy, local laws, and best practices.
- Assist with the execution of annual HR activities including performance appraisals, staff engagement surveys, and training programmes.
- Handle employee queries in a professional and confidential manner, offering accurate and timely support.
- Collate and analyse HR metrics to support reporting and decision making.
- Proactively recommend improvements to HR processes and champion initiatives fostering a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and belonging.
- Partner with line managers and global HR colleagues to resolve operational HR matters and promote employee wellbeing.
Key Profile and Skills Required for HR Specialist
- Solid understanding of HR principles and employee lifecycle processes.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in human resources, talent acquisition or HR operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Experience liaising with diverse stakeholders across organisational and cultural boundaries, demonstrating outstanding communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities on tight deadlines.
- Discretion with confidential information, practicing high levels of integrity and ethics.
- Strong IT proficiency, especially with HR information systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A mindset of learning, flexibility and results-focus with a collaborative, solution-driven approach.
- Experience in a multinational, matrixed work environment is an advantage.
Competency Requirements in HR and Employee Relations
- Knowledge of employment regulations and employee relations best practices.
- Experience supporting HR compliance audits and documentation.
- Ability to analyse HR data and present insights in reports or dashboards.
- Track record of supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within teams.
